POS & Packaging Design Projects:

CP Electronics product packaging design

The first in a range of eco-friendly packaging for CP Electronics’ Green-i products.

MicroGraphix designed a range of packaging solutions tailored to individual Green-i products. The packaging designed with a strong visual presence; using a style we created for their marketing material, provides the products with the necessary protection.

To keep production costs to a minimum, we worked closely with the client and the box manufacturer to ensure the minimum number of box sizes to cover the product range.

Pride & Joy POS design

MicroGraphix designed this bespoke counter-top point-of-sale unit for new luxury paint brand Pride & Joy.

The counter-top, POS unit was designed by us and made by our local large format print specialists B2B Graphics in brushed aluminium. It was designed to hold paint swatch colour cards and sample ‘dipsticks’.

Bespoke branded cardboard box production for Teknos

Teknos, a global paint and coatings company, identified a problem with shipping its products to customers, namely, damage during transit. This had a direct effect on the company’s bottom line. Teknos turned to MicroGraphix for a solution.

MicroGraphix designed a packaging solution tailored to Teknos’s products and created a prototype that underwent rigorous testing. The cardboard box we designed included an insert which holds the products neatly in place and provides the product protection required. We added Teknos branding to the box and additional important customer and courier information.

MicroGraphix partnered with the UK’s leading box manufacturer to produce the boxes and project managed the production process through to delivery.

The branded cardboard box designed by MicroGraphix significantly reduced customer returns and saved Teknos money. MicroGraphix was then commissioned to produce branded cardboard boxes to enable shipping of different sizes and quantities of products.

All the product designs were created in our in-house studio in Bicester, Oxfordshire. If you require branded cardboard boxes for your business, we would be happy to help.

I went to MicroGraphix with a business-critical issue, the team gripped the project straight away and devised a solution which has transformed our bottom line. Our products were getting damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging. MicroGraphix created a bespoke cardboard box that protects the products and enhanced our brand awareness via some fantastic design work. The product is now being rolled out across the business globally. MicroGraphix are tenacious problem solvers and incredible designers who get the job done to exacting standards. We’re so thankful for their work for us.

Bespoke packaging box design for OES and Casio

Oxford Educational Supplies identified an opportunity to improve a branded mailing box for a high specification Casio graphic calculator.

The leading marketing and distribution company for Casio calculators established the strengths of the product were not fully understood by customers. It believed that by enhancing the packaging it would increase the desirably of the product, communicate its qualities and help unlock its true market value.

Having secured an agreement from Casio to explore the concept Oxford Educational Supplies turned to MicroGraphix with the idea and a challenge to bring it to life.

MicroGraphix created high quality branded packaging using aspirational photography and graphic design skills combined with practical packaging know-how. The bespoke box included inserts to present the calculator and secure the peripherals. The new packaging much better reflected the high tech nature and quality of the product.

Additionally, we designed an instruction booklet, quick-guide manual and marketing voucher which were all inserted inside the box. The quick-guide was created to help address the lack of knowledge regarding the product’s functions among end-users. The simple concertinaed quick guide manual was inserted into the box to help engage the user immediately.

The branded packaging box designed by MicroGraphix transformed the market perception of the Casio product and resulted in significantly increased sales. All the product designs were created in our in-house studio in Bicester, Oxfordshire. If you require branded mailing boxes and associated marketing materials for your business, we would be happy to help.

We wanted a more befitting product box and marketing materials for a Casio graphical calculator but were not sure we would be able to turn it into reality. This is where MicroGraphix are brilliant, the team knew what we wanted immediately and how to deliver. MicroGraphix’s practical experience combined with graphic design flair really gives them the edge as a brand agency. Thanks to the new branded box and marketing materials MicroGraphix designed the product has secured its rightful position in the market place.
