Oxford Optron­ix logo design and cor­po­rate iden­ti­ty refresh

Micro­Graphix was approached to cre­ate a refreshed logo and cor­po­rate iden­ti­ty for Oxford Optron­ix, a glob­al pio­neer in the design, devel­op­ment and man­u­fac­ture of sophis­ti­cat­ed instru­men­ta­tion for the life sciences.

The new logo and brand­ing is to be encor­po­rat­ed through­out the com­pa­ny, includ­ing their new re-designed web­site, print­ed lit­er­a­ture and products.

Sum-It logo cor­po­rate iden­ti­ty and logo re-brand

Sum-It, the lead­ing pro­duc­ers of inte­grat­ed farm man­age­ment soft­ware, asked us at Micro­Graphix, to look at a com­plete re-brand of their cor­po­rate identity.

The client want­ed the cor­po­rate iden­ti­ty to reflect their range of inte­grat­ed soft­ware across both both arable and live­stock farm­ing. The re-brand includ­ed new typog­ra­phy, images, colour palette, and cre­ation of a suite of icons. We also designed and built a new website.

Logo design for The Cen­tre for Trans­la­tion­al Pharmacology

Micro­Graphix was asked to cre­ate a logo for The Cen­tre for Trans­la­tion­al Phar­ma­col­o­gy, a new­ly formed cen­tre at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Glasgow.

The client want­ed a logo that would reflect the work they do at the cen­tre, their links to the Uni­ver­si­ty, as well as rep­re­sent the area of Glasgow.

The logo com­bines the Glas­gow sky­line with G pro­tein-cou­pled recep­tors, which are involved in many dif­fer­ent dis­eases and are poten­tial drug tar­get for things like Alzheimer’s dis­ease and asthma.

Fanat­i­cal About Foot­ball cor­po­rate iden­ti­ty and logo design

Micro­Graphix was asked to cre­ate a logo for Fanat­i­cal About Foot­ball, a com­pa­ny that spe­cialis­es in sell­ing foot­ball shirts both old and new.

The client want­ed a logo that would work with or with­out a word­mark. We there­fore designed the logo with a foot­ball club style shield’ that could be used alone when neccessary.

Cor­po­rate iden­ti­ty design and brand devel­op­ment for mi-burger

Logo design and cor­po­rate iden­ti­ty for mi-burg­er, a start-up gourmet burg­er take­away restau­rant chain.

As a start-up, mi-burg­er had no design assets, so we were tasked with cre­at­ing the cor­po­rate iden­ti­ty from the ground-up. The brand­ing design was care­ful­ly con­sid­ered to be eye-catch­ing, and work across all appli­ca­tions. Start­ing with the logo, busi­ness cards and web­site, all the way through to shop sig­nage and displays.

Micro­Graphix cre­at­ed a series of icons and info­graph­ics for use in var­i­ous projects for First­Port, the UK’s pre­mier res­i­den­tial prop­er­ty man­age­ment group.

Our design­er cre­at­ed high impact visu­al icons that were in keep­ing with FirstPort’s brand iden­ti­ty and val­ues. The series of icons and info­graph­ics pro­vid­ed First­Port with a user-friend­ly set of time­less graph­ics that can be used across a myr­i­ad of mar­ket­ing mate­ri­als on an on-going basis.

769 shades of lux­u­ry paint for inte­ri­ors, fur­ni­ture and fit­tings. This brand new B to C busi­ness need­ed all mate­r­i­al from the ground up: CI, colour cards, pack­ag­ing, ecom­merce web­site, DM piece, email mar­ket­ing and exhi­bi­tion stand design!

Coop­er Callas rebranding

Rebrand­ing the UK’s largest inde­pen­dent bath­room and kitchen distributor.

Orig­i­nal­ly estab­lished in 1875, Coop­er Callas are the UK’s largest inde­pen­dent Bath­room & Kitchen dis­trib­u­tor; with over 27,000 prod­ucts. After a recent takeover, the com­pa­ny decid­ed it need­ed to mod­ernise and uni­fy its visu­al identity.

Audit­ing the cur­rent brand made it painful­ly obvi­ous how flex­i­ble the new iden­ti­ty would have to be, appear­ing online, on the side of trucks, in print and just about every­where imaginable.

The result was a logo adapt­able enough to appear any­where, in any size and in any medi­um; all whilst being recog­nis­able. We then began defin­ing the broad­er com­po­nents of the visu­al iden­ti­ty and pro­duc­ing the brand guidelines. 

Once com­plet­ed, we were tasked with apply­ing the new brand­ing to the 400+ page cat­a­logue, new web­site, cloth­ing and vehi­cle graphics.
