Product photography for OES
In parallel with the design of the Oxford Educational Supplies product catalogue, we were commissioned to produce this high-end product photography.
For its latest edition of its catalogue Oxford Educational Supplies asked MicroGraphix to enhance the presentation of the Casio products. This was part of a wider project we helped Oxford Educational Supplies with to better portray the strengths of the product and communicate its qualities to its customers.
To achieve this we created a series of ‘hero’ product photographs for each calculator to appear as the lead item on each page of their catalogue. This enhanced the appearance of the calculator, helped communicate the key aspects of the products and increased the desirability of each piece.
Using Photoshop we created versions of each product photograph where we changed the background colour of the images to suit the setting they were being used in.

CP Electronics product photography
Exploded view product photography
Exploded view product photography is ideal for demonstrating the relationship between various components in a product. Commissioned to highlight CP Electronic’s new 5‑pyro detector technology, the image is used in the product’s launch brochure as well as on the company’s website and in PR.
Imotech Medical composite photography
The model was photographed in our studio and composited with a ‘stock’ image. The composite was created in collaboration with our design team for use as a front cover for a medical supplies catalogue.
Triumph motorcycle studio photography
Studio photography and composite image manipulation for Triumph Motorcycles accessories division.
As part of a wider shoot for the accessories division of Triumph Motorcycles (individual photographs of over 300 parts), MicroGraphix were commissioned to photograph the new Bonneville range of bikes including the ‘Thruxton’ dressed in their latest accessory range.
The concrete wall background was specially constructed to be used for a number of projects and supplied to us to add the bike into. The bike was shot in our studios to match the background and then comped together with it. Careful calculation of vanishing points as well as green screen techniques to create transparent fairing screens were used to ensure the bike was at one with its background.
The Bonneville Thruxton returns the legendary café racer to its performance roots, from the power, delivered by its 1200cc ‘Thruxton spec’ engine, to the handling, agility and capability to match its beautifully imposing and authentic Thruxton styling.
