MicroGraphix was formed in 1998 to provide Thames Valley businesses with the largest design, photographic and agency resource. MicroGraphix was established by business and marketing people for business and marketing people. MGX Studios continues to grow to suit our clients expanding graphic design, website design, photography and video production requirements.

Graphic Design

MicroGraphix Commercial Photography

From a convenient location with excellent studio facilities, our experienced photographers using the latest technology produce inspirational results from capture to print. At MicroGraphix Commercial Photography, we specialise in providing professional creative photography and digital images for brochures, catalogues, mailers, advertising, point of sale, websites and exhibition display graphics.

Car and Vehicle Photography

Our purpose-built 2000 sq. ft drive-in photographic studio incorporates a 38ft wide infinity cove and will safely and comfortably accommodate most automotive and motor vehicle photography including people carriers, minibuses, car trailers and Formula 1 Grand Prix cars.

Motorcycle Photography

Over the last four years we have been commissioned to photograph Triumph Motorcycles new bike, clothing and accessory ranges and in 2005 a series of location lifestyle photo shoots. Since 2006, we have worked with Suzuki on lifestyle and product photography both on location and in the studio.

Catalogue and Brochure Photography

Do you need to produce high-impact printed or on-line catalogues or brochures to a deadline? At MicroGraphix Photography, our state-of-the-art photographic studio houses three high quality, flexible digital camera systems allowing for highly productive multiple shoots where required.

Creative Product Photography

Using our photographic experience and creative expertise, we can produce stunning concept shots, visual and special effects shots for your catalogues, brochures, mailers, PR, advertising, point of sale packaging, exhibition graphics or website. Product Photography

From high quality pack shots to dramatic concept shots, the MicroGraphix photographic team have many years experience in commercial product photography. Commissions include a wide range of product and application shots for clients’ advertising and promotional point of sale as well as catalogues, brochures and other marketing material.

Fine Cuisine Photography

Looking good enough to eat... whether for a magazine, menu design, book cover, food packaging or other marketing material, the MicroGraphix team can create striking, high quality photographic food images for any fine cuisine project.

Furniture Photography

Our modern drive-in studio in Bicester, Oxfordshire, offers a comfortable working environment and has enough space to cope with either large scale furniture photography or multiple furniture photo shoots simultaneously. We have also been commissioned to photograph a wide range of furniture at clients’ sites and in a variety of other locations.

Room Set Photography

Our 2000 sq. ft studio incorporates a 38ft wide infinity cove and adjustable floating ceiling making it ideal for roomset photography in particular for furniture catalogues and brochures. There is also an extensive range of ready-made room-set building components and floor coverings to provide clients with a number of variations and help reduce costs.

Location, Landscape and Building Photography

Location photography, landscape photography, buildings photography, aerial photography and scenic photography... at MicroGraphix, we pride ourselves on capturing eye-catching images on location that can be tailor-made to suit your photographic requirements.

Digital Image Manipulation

Photography and image manipulation - photoshoots can sometimes be fraught with difficulties particularly on location with variables such as the weather, travel delays and modelling expenses. Dynamic Websites

At MicroGraphix we have built bespoke dynamic websites for some of our clients. The most common type of dynamic websites are those that are database driven - each time the pages are loaded they grab information stored in a database. If the information in the database changes, the web page connected to the database will change accordingly and automatically. Dynamic websites, therefore, can offer visitors much more than a simple eBrochure site based on text and images.

Stockist Locator Tool

MicroGraphix are able to produce public as well as in-house stockist locator and management systems. Our public facing system can produce results based on a single criteria e.g. town or postcode or multiple criteria e.g. type of product required and town or postcode required. Results can be returned based on county requested or based on a predetermined radius of the users postcode.

Website CMS (content management systems)

Our website content management systems control and/or deliver information instantly to your website pages. Our content management systems can be tailored to control any aspect of your website, for example: literature libraries, news tools, product tools, competitions or event calendars. If you are a company who regularly has to supply images to your dealer network or to the press, then this image library tool could save you a great deal of time and money. The image library tool allows the user to identify the image by text and thumbnail image navigation, view a larger sample, then download a hi-res jpeg of the image required.

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)

We have many years experience in creating websites that are search-engine friendly. We ensure the code is clean and the site has the correct link-structure so it can be easily indexed by spider-based search engines such as Google; that each page is content-rich in relevant keywords and key phrases and it can be viewed across all platforms and browsers.

Web Hosting & Domain Management

MicroGraphix offers to manage the link between you and the website host. We do not host websites ourselves directly as this is a highly specialised business. MicroGraphix lease servers with two separate ISPs. We maintain a backup of your site and data at MicroGraphix so that in the event that an ISP should suffer a catastrophic system...

Video Production

We are able to provide a video production service for businesses that can benefit from the many advantages that multimedia videos have to offer. At our studios in Bicester, we use the latest in video recording equipment and video editing software to produce professional final cut audio edited video. Our videographers capture broadcast quality video for productions in High Definition (HD) and Digital Video (DV) and we develop video content which is compressed for use on the internet, mobile phone (3G) networks and DVD.

Case Studies - JVC

MicroGraphix has been pleased to be associated with JVC Mobile Entertainment for a number of years. During this time we have been involved with graphic design and photography for advertising, brochures, promotions and the company’s website.

Case Studies - ISG

Starting with a clean sheet we worked together with ISG on the strategic development of their corporate identity. Designed to reflect the company’s solid engineering base and hi-tech product range, the new corporate identity has been successfully rolled out across the company.Together with graphic design for stationery, literature and the new website, we photographed a library of images for use in the new material.

Case Studies - Lecico

Lecico are one of the leading manufacturers of ceramic bathroom ranges in the UK. In 2006, we were commissioned to create their latest collection brochure which required extensive roomset and detailed product photography. More recently, we have designed Lecico’s 2008 calendar, press advertising, a series of direct mail pieces, exhibition graphics and exhibition product range brochure.

Case Studies - Corndell

Initially commissioned to photograph Corndell’s furniture collections, we are now responsible for the creative and production of their entire off-line marketing collateral as well as the design and development of the company’s website.

Case Studies - Suzuki

In 2006, MicroGraphix was commissioned by Suzuki to photograph a collection of products and lifestyle shots for their UK Genuine Clothing & Accessories range catalogue. Since then, we have worked closely with Suzuki GB’s automobile and motorcycle divisions creating a series of direct mail promotional pieces for their dealer network and printed Suzuki’s 2007 Accessories range catalogue which included a version on CD.

Case Studies - Morleys

One of our longest standing clients is Morleys of Bicester and its divisions Principal Furniture and Duncan Roberts. Morleys are educational furniture and equipment specialists and over the years we have designed, photographed and artworked the group’s annual catalogues as well as producing direct mail, advertising and exhibition graphics. More recently we have developed full eCommerce websites for Morleys, its Early Year’s range and Principal Furniture.

Case Studies - Triumph

In the past we have been responsible for: Brand identity and graphic design work for Triumph’s catalogues, direct mail and advertising, re-branding and development of the dealer marketing support website, which provides branding information, advertising and an image archive. Also studio and location photography for catalogue, direct mail and internet use, advertising creation and fulfilment for the UK, European and US markets.
